Reservations and Payment:
1. For reservations made 15 days or more prior to commencement of stay, advance payment of €100 is required at the time of booking. Written confirmation will be provided upon receipt of this payment. The balance is then due at commencement of stay unless alternative arrangements have been agreed. When an advance payment has been made by credit card the balance will automatically be debited in the UK, in pounds sterling. Credit card payments will be converted from euro to pound sterling at the current exchange rate.
2. For reservations made within 15 days of the commencement of stay then full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Should we have to change your reservation in any way, we will guarantee to offer alternative accommodation or a full refund.
4. Should any amendments or alterations be made to a reservation, it maybe necessary to make an administration charge.
Cancellation:
1. In the event of a cancellation a full refund will be made on condition that notification is received via email(and acknowledged by us) 15 days prior to commencement of stay, unless otherwise notified via email, except in the event of payments been made via Credit card when a 3% charge will be taken off the amount to be refunded.
2. In the event of cancellation being received within 15 days + prior to commencement of stay no refund will be made.
3. Non-arrival for a confirmed reservation will be treated as a cancellation after 24hrs.
4. No refund will be made for early termination of a reservation.
General:
1. A security deposit will be held on your credit card details in the event of any breakages etc
2. All extras must be paid for prior to departure otherwise credit cards will automatically be debited for outstanding accounts.
3. We cannot at any time be held responsible for any bank charges.
4. We shall be obliged to increase our tariff should currency rates or government taxes be increased.
5. Transfers and meals are not included in the cost.
6. We regret that we are not able to accept responsibility for loss of luggage or valuables, nor for injury or illness and therefore we strongly recommend that full travel insurance is purchased prior to travel.
7. Rio apartments or Rio properties are unable to accept responsibility for errors, omissions, photographs and information in our brochures, nor in those provided by third parties.
8. To allow for the property to be cleaned prior to new guests arriving the check in time for the property is 2pm and existing guests must leave the property before 11am of the day of departure.
